The implications of sustainability on architecture

The architectural implications of sustainability (=balancing human population demands with a healthy natural environment) are investigated in two parts. First, a concept of sustainable architecture is developed from interdisciplinary sources. secondly, the implications of this concept are explored via the design of a new park headquarters for Great Basin National Park in Nevada.
