Abstract

Discusses the concept of separation of powers though The Federalist papers 47-51. The article goes through the order of Madison’s argument, the threat to liberty, democracy and the separation of powers, the common good and the balance constitution. The author concludes that the separation of powers is what makes people capable of governing themselves.
