Abstract
The dynamic nature of the city calls for a language of dynamic symbols. These symbols involve reacting to the constantly changing physical, mental, and psychological values of the urban culture. Those in poverty are continually displaced and their homes often replaced by the growing city. Images of transitional elements devise traces of various things in motion, temporarily, and become instantly recognizable while simultaneously becoming urban characteristics. Elements of events in time constantly change.
