[Two Letters one from R. Fields to Ely S. Parker and then a response from J. D. Cox to R. Fields] the first letter requests to be furnished with information in regard to Cherokee Trust funds on hand January 1869 in a statement. While the second letter is in reply to Mr. R. Fields enclosing a statement by J. D. Cox of the trust funds followed by his letter notifying him that he cannot fulfill such request but every faculty member is provided with a copy therefore he encloses it to him.
