Abstract
By directly integrating existing natural and historically built forms with contemporary means of construction, architecture has the ability to transcend its era and become a timeless part of the landscape. This transformation not only facilitates a balanced relationship between built and natural environments, but gives architecture the potential to develop a connection between the user and the landscape. The spatial programs and respective locations of the cabins (in this case) will soften the line between interior and exterior through circulation and transition spaces. In doing this, the user will be able to truly experience the environment in a way that blurs the distinction between nature and building.
