Abstract
Summarizes the Texas Supreme Court’s case A.H. Belo Corp. v. Sanders. In A.H. Belo, the Court held that a slander of title claim in Texas required proof of loss of a specific sale for recovery. The author raises concerns that the Court failed to consider the scenario in which the slandered title kept away all eligible purchasers and a plaintiff cannot show loss of a specific sale but nonetheless has suffered damages.
