THESIS An architectural designer uses construction as a medium of completing his designed works, so that architecture can be described as the assemblage of materials with an emphasis placed on joinery construction techniques. FACILITY TYPE Stand alone bicycle specific retail store, of approximately eleven thousand square feet. SCOPE OF PROJECT The proposed shop will be a new store tor one of West Texas largest bicycle retail stores which is currently located in a strip shopping center. Current clientele of the store are from West Texas and New Mexico .Along with the retail facility will be provided. CONTEXT The proposed bicycle retail store will be located in Lubbock, Texas in the middle of a large collection of shopping strips along 50th street. The proposed site was once the home of a large mall and has one existing stand alone furniture store in the middle of the available area.
