Abstract
The question posed to this symposium panel is, "Can we reduce the amount of innocent convictions without increasing unjust acquittals?"' The easy answer is "of course." Doing so, however, is harder than most people assume. This Article focuses on other proposed reforms that are frequently mentioned but that do not satisfy this question posed.
