Abstract

This article discusses problems associated with the distribution of partnership property and dissolution of partnership upon the death of a business partner. The article discusses asset-protection methods and resolving conflict when a partnership agreement conflicts with a partner’s will. Finally, the article concludes that the partners are responsible for providing a means for protecting assets from individual partners and their beneficiaries.
