Modernism is a theory exploring the expression of modem materials. Expressionism is characterized as being a part of this theory by challenging the capabilities of structural materials. This theory identifies characteristics of a community and incorporates them into the design. This project will explore the ideas of expressionism to develop a design based on identity, cultural values, and form indicative of the community.
