Factors Affecting Food Away from Home: Are Food-Secure and Food-Insecure Households Different?

The analysis, based on data from the Current Population Survey (CPS), finds that female labor force participation., household income, Food Stamp Program (FSP) participation, education., and other socio-demographic variables have different effects on the food expenditures made by households classified as food-secure in comparison to food-insecure households.
