Abstract

This study investigates the irrigation of cotton, sorghum, and potatoes under well watered and water limiting conditions. The flcutuation of plant and soil water status were intensively monitored over the growing season, as irrigations were scheduled at variable soil and leaf water potentials. The resultant data help elucidate the irrigation requirements of these crop species and the effect of measured levels of plant and soil water stress on crop yield.
