Abstract
Under the Graphene Flagship of European Commission, a graphene enhanced capillary pump has been developed for a Loop Heat Pipe for space applications. The acetone operated two-phase device, thanks to the porosity of a graphene layer deposited on a sintered wick structure, has improved characteristics compared to a conventional one. Two LHP are tested: one built with a traditional technique and the second one with the graphene deposition. Test results for both LHPs are presented, compared and discussed.
