Securities: Introduction

Introduces a survey of federal securities decisions by the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. The author provides an overview of the cases covered by the survey for the period from September 1, 1974, through August 31, 1975. The author notes, “It should be a matter of urgency for the Texas securities bar, acting as in the past through the State Bar of Texas, to propose for legislative enactment a completely revised approach to civil liabilities and remedies in the area of securities law.”
