Abstract
Survey of United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit from July 1, 1982 through June 30, 1983. During the survey period, a majority of the Fifth Circuit's decisions involving copyrights, patents, trademarks, and other intellectual property were delivered within the perimeters of previously settled law. The court did decide what it termed an interesting and unusual trademark dispute. Accordingly, this section will focus on that decision and its possible implications.
