Abstract
Discusses the history of special issues and their use in Texas courts. Before the Island case only one special issue could be submitted. The holding in Island is a clear departure from Texas precedent and raises many questions about allowing two inconsistent theories of recovery to be submitted in the same broad issue. Questions how this case should be viewed by the courts.
