Abstract

In 2019, Texas Tech University (TTU) identified increasing citations as an institutional priority to increase the university’s reputation (Texas Tech University, 2018). This was done as part of the overall strategic objective to support research on campus. In response, the TTU Libraries looked at what they could do to support this effort. They landed on supporting open access (OA) in a new and different way than it had done in the past.
